BIOGRAPHY
I am a creative, strong, versatile and entrepreneurial woman who has a love for design tattooed, which connects me with my most human side.
After making a name for myself, after 20 years, as an interior designer; In 2011 I turned my life around and decided to follow my dreams doing what I really wanted.
I am passionate about it, so I launched my own brand of artisanal designer jewelry with the clear objective of revolutionizing the world of goldsmithing through new colors, shine and textures of metals.
I found my inspiration in the beauty that exists in nature, since I was a child I discovered a fascination for bugs, their shapes, their capricious colors and in this way I began to collect them. It is from this passion that the BEE emerges as the representative icon of the Regina Castillo brand, a symbol that reflects our hard-working essence, our community and passion.
The parts we produce are
unique and collectible, most of them are made of .925 silver inlaid with pyrite stones and faceted stone pendants made with ancient techniques by Mexican artisans. With the passage of time I have perfected the quality and technique of my pieces, I specialized in agglutinating the marquise to later give it the gold, pink and blue silver plating, based on the pavé technique that distinguishes me so much.
All our collections represent what I am and what I want to convey to women, always using national labor and resources.
Throughout this decade I have collaborated with renowned artists such as Daniel Espinosa, Abel López, Fernanda Espíritu, Alejandro Carlín, Sandra Weil, Carlos Pineda, Benito Santos, Susana Rodríguez, Sarah Galindo, Cristina Obregón, Daniela Cassab, Verónica Díaz, Lydia Lavín, Paola Hinojos, Brizegno and
Macario Jimenez.
In 2019, Asociación Fashion Group México awarded me the “Best Jewelry of the Year” award and some time later, QUIEN magazine awarded me for my career as one of the 31 Mexican women who have generated actions of change in the fight for social welfare, in my case, focused on women.
